The Katalon Studio version a project was created with, read straight from its .prj file. This bundle sits below the entity/DAL layer that owns ProjectEntity, but the file is the same one, and reading it here keeps Studio and the runtime engine resolving version-dependent defaults identically.
A project created before createdVersion was written, or one whose version cannot be parsed, counts as older than every release.
